Privacy at 1Uninstall

1Uninstall is built so that the work happens on your Mac, not on our servers. The short version: the app scans and cleans locally, has no telemetry, and never uploads your files or the list of what an app left behind.

The app

• Runs 100% on-device. Scanning and removal happen entirely on your Mac. Your file paths, scan results, and the apps you uninstall are never sent to us or anyone else.
• No telemetry or analytics. The app doesn't include tracking, usage analytics, or advertising identifiers.
• Reversible by design. Items are moved to the Trash rather than permanently deleted, so you stay in control of your data.

This website

• Optional, consent-gated analytics. Google Analytics stays off unless you select “Allow analytics.” If you allow it, we measure page views and basic website interactions; advertising storage and personalization remain disabled, and URL query strings are excluded.
• Website data only. Analytics never receives app scans, file paths, apps you remove, license keys, or payment details. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage and can be changed with “Analytics choices” in the footer.
• Standard server logs. Like most websites, our host records basic request logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and reliability. These are not used to profile you.

Purchases

1Uninstall Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. When you buy a license, Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and handles your billing details under their own privacy policy. We receive only the order information needed to deliver and support your license (such as your email address and license key). We never see your full card details.
